Georgia Chess, woman-out-of-time, is restless in modernity. Channeling the emotional candor and dark grime of 90s songwriters like Fiona Apple and Elliot Smith, Chess writes songs steeped in frustrated femininity, songs that ache and seethe with obsession and hushed indignation.
